The Nolan Brothers Work for the Justice League

Sorry it’s been quiet on my end folks, but I’ve been slammed with work and snow so it’s been a little busy on my end. Regardless! I am back and ready to rumble.
The first order of business is this delightful little bit of news coming down the wire. It seems that Warner Bros. has decided to pick up the eldest Nolan (Christopher), to be the overseer of the next Superman movie. But this doesn’t mean that he will be directing or writing the thing… instead he is going to be a Godfather to the part. What that means is that he will give creative advice and promptly push the project in the right direction. All decisions that come down will have to go through him, but he himself will not have to pick up a pen. Not much is said about the newest Superman movie, except that “it’s not a sequel and it’s not another reboot.” Comforting. Honestly, this is where you wanna be. You have all of the primary control without the fallout if the movie ends up bombing in the box office. Of course, Chris has the luck of everything he touches turning into gold and naked women.
The younger brother, Jonathan, along with David Goyer, have officially been declared that they are working on the Batman 3 script. Currently, Jon is finishing up the script while he puts the finishing touches on his action-thriller “Inception” and will hopefully have something to show to Warner Bros. by the end of the quarter. Nothing on THAT has been said of course, but you know how much the rumor mill will turn. Just be glad that we officially know there is a working script out there, ya? (Via /Film)
